TitleMustard Dip
Ingredients1.5 – 2 ounce jar ground mustard seed/mustard powder
enough white vinegar to fill the empty jar of mustard
2 egg yolks
1/4 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar

MethodIn a small bowl, thoroughly combine mustard powder and vinegar to form a smooth paste. Lightly cover and let “ferment” at room temperature overnight.

Note: WARN YOUR FAMILY NOT TO SAMPLE! It is pretty horrible at this point wink

In a small saucepan, whisk egg yolks and sugar. Over lo to med-lo heat, continue stirring until sugar has dissolved. Add the mustard paste.

Continue stirring until it starts to bubble. If it gets too thick for your taste, add a splash of vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, or even beer or wine. Cook until well combined.

Serve warm or room temp.
